Comedy of errors

The Comedy of Errors is one of William Shakespeare's earliest plays. It is his shortest and one of his most farcical comedies, with a major part of the humour coming from slapstick and mistaken identity, in addition to puns and word play. The Comedy of Errors (along with The Tempest) is one of only two of Shakespeare's plays to observe the classical unities. It has been adapted for opera, stage, screen and musical theatre.

From the title alone you can already tell what genre of play is this. I guessed that the title is like that because the play is funny because of the mistakes or errors made by the characters. When I understood the play, I learned that my hypothesis is correct. The play was really confusing, at the same time, funny. Funny because of the mistakes the characters have done. There are so many twists in the story that I never thought that will happen which made the play really interesting. I think watching it would be more exciting. I often get confused on the names because the pair of twins has the same name with their twin brother and just the place where they came from was different. But still, I understood the play even with so many confusions and mistakes.

All in all the story was great, another masterpiece by William Shakespeare.

NCAE

I can already see the finish line of my student life. Its seems to be so near but yet so far. It will not take long and I will be already entering the door towards real life with real problems and real struggles. To be ready for this problems, DepED is helds a yearly National Career Assessment Examination(NCAE) for 3rd year high school students.

Jose Rizal once quoted "Ang kabataan ang pag asa ng bayan". NCAE helps to mold student to be the future leaders and . Its helps the students choose what coarse will lead you to success.. Some said that this examination was just useless because these papers can't dictate to us what we are heading towards. But for me, it would.

Knowledge Beyond Books

Intramural is not about competing with others or showing of your skills in sports. Intramural or whats we called "intrams" is more about sportsmanship and enhancing your ability in sports.Through these students can learn things that can not be learned in the books or in the four walls of the class room. Also, this event can help students live a healthy life by exercising and engaging with sports.

Last August our school held the Intramurals 2012 that aims to make the students to be physically fit and have fun together with friends. It is one of the most awaited activity in school, whether or not youre not good in any sport. It is very challenging because we can defeat the higher years and the abilities of students in every year can be compared. If ever we are defeated, we can learn lesson from it. It also tells us that we should practice more and we need to improve our skills. We should not take it negatively because it will not make us any good.

Intramuls is really fun even though we got tired, because we know in oure selves that or abilities have been enhanced.

I AM A FILIPINO AND I LOVE MY LANGUAGE

Every country has its own unique language. It is the language they inherited from their ancestors and was polished as time passed by. In our country, the Filipino language was long prohibited in the days of colonization by Spaniards, Americans, and Japanese. Local heroes fought for its sovereignty. They died so they can see their countrymen secure their freedom and be able to speak their own language. But as time passed, different foreign languages drastically spread across the country. Sadly, most of the time our mother tongue was overshadowed by these foreign languages, especially the English language.

The capability to speak English has been the basis of literacy and evidence of the kind of education you have acquired. They say that the English language is the key to success, not only in our own country but also in other parts of the world. That is the reason why all the schools and institutions have English Speaking Campaign (ESC) to train their students in speaking straight English properly.Through this training, their students excel in speaking English, in order to become world class and ready to compete against other nationalities. But on the other hand, as we learn and become fluent in it, we tend to forget something along the way. We, little by little, lose our love for our mother tongue. Filipino language is a big part of us being Filipinos. Unknowingly, we forget how many heroes fought and died so we, and the next generations to come, can enjoy the kind of freedom that we have.

If I had to choose between  mastery of  English or mother tongue, I would happily choose our mother tongue, if only to show my love for my heritage. By choosing it, I can say proudly "Pilipino ako, hindi dahil sa Pilipinas ako pinanganak at mga magulang ko ay Pilipino, kundi dahil mahal ko ang wika ko at ang aking pagkaPilipino ko." However, our National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal himself, who was an accomplished linguist, said "Ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa malansang isda." Out of love for country, he proved that one can be an expert in so many languages and still keep his love, not only for his own language but for his heritage as well.

I am proud of being Filipino. And I also believe that learning English or any other language is one way of enriching my being a world class Filipino.
